Huberte Babineau 1917 - 2003 COCAGNE, NB - Mme Huberte Babineau, 86, wife of Henri Babineau who resided in Cormierville, N. B. passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2003 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born in Grande-Digue, January 27, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Gauvin and the late Eléonore Richard. Prior to her retirement, she was employed with Y.M.C.A. in Moncton. She was a member of the Golden Age Club and attended St. Pierre Roman Catholic Church in Cocagne. Huberte is survived by her husband Henri; three daughters, Marie-Thérèse Smith (Thomas) of Kanata, ON, Louise Beardsley (Steve) of St. Albert, AB, Claudette DeSerres (Jean-Luc) of St. Eugene, ON; one sister, Evangeline Girouard of Shediac; eight grandchildren, Tyler, Travis, Andrea, Lise, Justine, Guy, Renée, Michele, and five great grandchildren, Caitlin, Mitchel, Grace, Cassandra, Natasha. She was predeceased by three sisters, Sr. Marie Annette, Léontine, Marguerite and three brothers, Henri, Théda and Edgar Gauvin. Resting at St. Pierre Slumber Room, St. Pierre Roman Catholic Church, Cocagne with visitation on Friday from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m., Saturday from 10a.m. until time of funeral. The funeral Mass will be held at St. Pierre Roman Catholic Church, Cocagne on Saturday, March 29, 2003 at 11a.m. Interment in the Parish Cemetery. In her memory, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of N. B., Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital Foundation or St. Pierre Church Renovation Fund.
