Curwin Stafford Murray 1909-2003 The death of Curwin Murray of Mt. St. Joseph Nursing Home and formerly of Burnt Church occurred Saturday, April 12, 2003 at the age of 93. Born in Burnt Church he was the son of the late John and Minnie (Curwin) Murray. He was a fisherman for 67 years, a carpenter and caretaker at the Sewell Golf Course, Tabusintac. Survived by one brother, Lawrence of Kingston, ON; one niece, Marlene and one nephew, Larry. Predeceased by two sisters, Mildred and Myrtle. Visitation will be held at St. David's United Church, Burnt Church on Monday 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2003 at 2pm with Rev. Gaye Smith officiating. Burial will take place in the Burnt Church Cemetery, later in the spring. As expression of sympathy donations may be made to Mt. St. Joseph, SPCA, St. David's United Church or the memorial of one's choice.
