Jeanette Chase occurred peacefully at the Sackvill Saturday

Jeanette Chase SACKVILLE,NB - The death of Jeanette Chase occurred peacefully at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Saturday, April 12, 2003 in her 101st year. Born in Clark's Harbour, NS, she was a daughter of the late Randall and Alice (Kenny) MacKinnon. She was a life long member of the Salvation Army and the oldest soldier of the Amherst, NS Citadel, she was the secretary for the Sackville Salvation Army Home League until 3 years ago. Mrs. Chase leaves to mourn, two daughters, Catherine, Sackville and Margaret (James) Murray, Miramichi; a sister, Marjorie Smith, Shelburne, NS. She was predeceased by her husband, Percy in 1970 and two sisters, Bernice and Millie. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (364-1300) with visitation Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 15, 2003 at 2 PM, Pastor Morris Mills and Rev. Matthew Porter officiating. Burial in the Sackville Cemetery.
