Camille R. Cormier HAUTE-ABOUJAGANE, NB - Camille R. Cormier, 79, Haute-Aboujagane, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2003 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born March 31, 1924 in Shediac, he was the son of the late Benoit Cormier, and the late Lea Breau Camille was a veteran of W.W. 2, then was employed as an electrician having last worked for Irving. He was a very skilled artist and loved to paint Acadian history, it's heritage, and folklore. He is survived by his wife , Berthe (Gallant) Cormier; five daughters, Camilla Doucet (late Maurice), Raymonde Goulette, and Charlene Hebert all of Haute-Aboujagane, Denise Giroux (Jacques) of Regina, SK, Germaine Lordon of Saint-John; two sons, Paul (Marie) of Grand-Barachois, Claude (Joanne) of Cold Lake , AB; three sisters, Dora, and Norma of U.S.A., Lena of QC; a brother, Raymond (Rita) of Moncton; nine grandchildren, Claude, Cindy, Paul, Allain, Brian, Lee, Katie, Ben, Angela; three great-grandchildren, Nicole, Alyssa, Austin; several nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Marie; brothers, Yvon, and Clorice. Remains resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 393 Main Street, Shediac (5323297). Visiting hours Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure. The funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2003 at St-Henri Roman Catholic Church, Grand-Barachois. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery.
