Evelyn L. Fryatt 1930 - 2003 MIRAMICHI, NB - Mrs. Evelyn Lenora Fryatt, widow of the late Walter Fryatt, of the Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home, and formerly of Black River Bridge, passed away at her residence, on Friday, May 2, 2003, at the age of 72. Born in Main Center, Saskatchewan, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Margaret (Goertzen) Klassen. She was a homemaker; a member of St. Stephens United Church, Black River Bridge; a retired R.N.A. at the Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home, employed there for fourteen years; a member of the Victoria Knitting Club; Treasurer of the Miramichi Chapter, Council of the Blind. She is survived by two daughters, Jeanette Lavoie(Gord) and Florence Bolan (Robert), all of Miramichi; one son, Thomas Fryatt (Cheryl), of Moosejaw, Sask.; three sisters, Delores Dyck, of Alberta, Audrey Martens, and Rosella Wyper, both of Saskatchewan; one brother, Lawrence Klassen, of Alberta; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter; one sister, Viola Klassen; one brother, Norman Klassen. Remains are resting at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King Street, with visiting on Monday evening from 7-9 pm and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from St. Stephens United Church, Black River Bridge, on Wednesday, May 7, 2003, at 2 pm. Interment will be in the Black River Community Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
