John Enzlie Sinclair 1909 - 2003 ALMA, NB - John Enzlie Sinclair, 93, of Alma passed away on May 4, 2003 at The Moncton Hospital. He was born in Alma on July 18, 1909 the son of the late John and Florence (Cahill) Sinclair. John worked as a sawyer in the lumber industry for many years. He retired from Fundy National Park in 1975. He enjoyed his retirement by gardening and especially enjoyed visiting family and having family and friends visit him. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed by his wife Annie (McLaughlin) Sinclair; two daughters, Melda Garland of Havelock and Patricia Burns of Moncton; one son, Gary Sinclair of Alma; six grandchildren Kimberly, Pamela, Kent, Stacy, Steven and Craig; two great grandchildren, Jennings and Keaton. He will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his eldest son, Leonard; brother, Charles; two sisters, Mayme Sinclair and Florence McKinley and a grandson, William Burns. The remains will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home, Hopewell Cape with visitation on Tuesday, May 6 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at the St. Stephen's United Church in Alma on Wednesday, May 7, 2003 at 2pm with Rev. Val Chongva Officiating. The internment will be in the Alma United Cemetery. In John's memory donations to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital or to the charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
