Marion (Merne) L. Wood Marion (Merne) L. Wood, 78, of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, May 10, 2003. Born in Coverdale, daughter of the late David and Ethel (Gillis) Wood. Merne was a member of St. Paul's United Church, Riverview; former secretary to Dr. J. B. Collip, University of Western Ontario; former manager of Talbot Theatre, University of Western Ontario and former secretary of the Conference Office United Church of Canada, London, ON and member of the Albert County Historical Society. Merne will be sadly missed by her sister, Ruth Wilson, Riverview; nieces Anna Banks (Bob), Mary Ellen MacKinnon (Robert), Jane Wood, Kelley Wood, Riverview, Janet Ward (Jeffrey), Halifax, Cecily Rasmussen (Ken), Irishtown, Charlotte Wood (Gim Ardal), Toronto, Joyce Clouthier (Steve), Nepean, ON; several grandnieces and grandnephews, one great grandnephew. Predeceased by her brother, Stanley (Sam) (1978), Albert (Bud) (1995); nephew David Wood (1997). Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton, (858-1995) Monday 2-4, 79pm.
