Joseph Alderice "Al" Melanson ANTINGONISH, NS - Joseph Alderice "Al" Melanson, passed away peacefully, May 10, 2003 in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish, NS. Born in Scoudouc, NB, he was a son of the late Alban and Lydia (Gaudet) Melanson. He is survived by his stepson, Archie Boyd (Moira), Ottawa; step-daughter, Helen MacDonald (Bert), Antigonish; sisters, Anita Babin, Fernande Melanson, Jeanne Cormier (Laurie); brothers, Edmund, Paul-Emile (Elia); sisterin-law, Rita Melanson, all of Moncton; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving wife Rose (MacLean) Boyd; brothers, Emery, Fred, Albert. Funeral was held on Tuesday, May 13, 2003 in Antigonish, NS..
