Frederick "Fred" Daigle Frederick "Fred" Daigle, 77, of Moncton, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2003 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born December 1, 1925 in Edmundston, he was the son of the late Fidel Daigle and the late Ozélie Robichaud. He was employed at Université de Moncton before retirement, and was a veteran of W.W. 2. He is survived by his wife, Thérèse (née Gallant) Daigle; four sisters, Nathalie Thompson and Beatrice Melanson of Dieppe, Ida Melanson of Grande-Digue, Theresa Pratt of Ottawa; three brothers, Armand (Jeanne) of Moncton, Willie, and Lewis both of Leominster, MA; several nieces, and nephews. He is predeceased by a son, Robert (2000); sisters, Doris, Delida, Juliette, and Marie. The family will receive condolences Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). The Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2003 at Notre-Dame-de-Gr¥ce Roman Catholic Church (Parkton). Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. The Royal Canadian Legion, Moncton Branch #6, will hold a service of remembrance Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. from the funeral home. www.frenettefuneralhome.com
