Jean Cadman
Jean Cadman CADMAN'S CORNER, NB - The death of Jean Cadman, age 97, of Cadman's Corner, occurred at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, on Monday, May 26, 2003. Born in Chapman's Corner, she was a daughter of the late Augustus and Ida (McGill) Johnston. Jean devoted her life to her family and to nursing, practicing as an RN for over 40 years. She was a member of the East Westmorland Senior Citizen's Club and the Murray Corner United Church. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Loella (Lyman) Murray, Cadman's Corner); one son, Hollie (Clotilde), Toronto, ON and three granddaughters, Monique (Gregory) Cole, Halifax, Jacqueline (Carl) James, and Annette (James) Colborn both of Toronto; six great grandchildren, Erica and Seth Cole, Gradyon, Nolan, Ethan and Griffin James; nieces, Luella (Robert) Cadman-Beverage, Diane, Lisa and Karen Beverage; and nephew, Robert Cadman-Beverage. She was predeceased by her husband, Alton Cadman in 1984. The last surviving member of her immediate family, she was also predeceased by her brothers, Earl, Basil and Hollie; a sister, Vesta Rayworth; nieces, Joan Smith and Betty Whittle. The remains have been forwarded for cremation. A graveside service will take place at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Jones Funeral Home, Port Elgin, NB (364-1300).
