Florida Martin ROGERSVILLE, NB - Mrs. Florida Martin, of Rogersville, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Wednesday, May 28, 2003 at the age of 73. Florida was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Gallant) LeBlanc. She was a homemaker and attended St. Francois de Sales Roman Catholic Church in Rogersville. Florida was a member of the Club D'Age d'Or and the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Besides her husband Elzear Martin, she is survived by one son, Ivan (Thyria) of Halifax; two sisters, Lucie of Collette, Margaret of Moncton; two brothers, Abel (Shelly) of Vermont, Andre (Aurore) of Collette; three grandchildren, Brian, Colin, Samantha and several nieces and nephews. Florida's sister, Alice and one brother, Norman predeceased her. The family will receive relatives and friends at St. Francois de Sales Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room in Rogersville Thursday, May 29, 2003 from 7 to 9 and Friday May 30, 2003 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 31, 2003 at 11am with Father Denis Belliveau officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
