Marjorie (Halliday) Gould AMHERTS, NB - Gould age 93, of Amherst died Friday, June 6, 2003 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Center, Upper Nappan, N.S. Born in Amherst, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Margaret (Mingo) Langille. Marjorie was a member of First Baptist Church, Amherst and was on the board of directors for Family and Children Services, Amherst. She is survived by four daughters, Shirley (George) Baxter of Oliver, B.C., Joyce (Darrell) Brown and Audrey (Bud) Benjamin both of Miramichi City, N.B. and Caroline (Jay) Ojy of Radium, B.C., two sons Kenneth (Audrey) Halliday of Tidnish River, N.S. and Larry (Colleen) Halliday of Edmonton, Alberta; one step daughter, Sarah (Albert) Spence of Amherst and one step son, Joe (Doreen) Gould of Amherst; one brother, Raymond Langille of Amherst, eighteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nine step grandchildren, two nephews and one niece. Marjorie was predeceaed by her first husband Cecil Halliday, her second husband Ernest Gould and one sister Irene Baird. Her remains are resting at Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst with visiting on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday at 3 p.m. from Campbell's Chapel with Rev. Byron Corkum and Rev. Williard Watling officiating. Interment will follow in the Amherst Cemetery.
