Norman A. MacDonald 1933 - 2003 GLENWOOD, NB - Mr. Norman Arthur MacDonald, husband of Alvina MacDonald, of Glenwood, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Thursday evening, June 26, 2003, at the age of 69. Born in Glenwood, he was the son of the late Archibald and Ida (McDonald) MacDonald. He was a former employee of both North Shore Construction and Ace Enterprises Ltd., employed as a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of St. Stephens United Church, Black River Bridge. Norman's passion was Antique Cars and driving his Model "A" Ford. He was a member of the N.B. Antique Auto Club. He is survived by his wife, the former Alvina Duplessis; one daughter, Shelly LeBlanc (Frank), of Memramcook; two sons, Vincent MacDonald (Paula), of New Maryland, and Daryl MacDonald (Tracy), of Fredericton; four sisters, Eileen MacDonald (Emerson) and Vera Watling (Donald), all of Black River Bridge, Ada Taylor, of Nackawick, and Joan MacDonald, of Glenwood; two brothers, Vince MacDonald (Emma), of Glenwood and Blaine MacDonald (Glenda), of Napan; one special cousin, Stanley MacDonald; six grandchildren, Kristina, Melissa, David, Jeffery, Shelby and Kayla; as well as numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by one son, Kevin; two brothers, Byron and Marven MacDonald. By request, there will be only private family visiting at the funeral home. A public funeral service will be held from St. Stephens United Church, on Sunday, June 29, 2003, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. David Cleveland. Interment will be in the Black River Community Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Extra Mural Nursing Program, or the Black River Cemetery Fund, would be appreciated by the family.
