Vincent J. Pitre CANAAN STATION, NB - Vincent J. Pitre, 76, of Canaan Station, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, June 28, 2003. Born in Saint Paul, son of the late Edmond and Mary (Cormier) Pitre. Vincent was a former CNR employee (Bridge Repair) and former owner of V. J. Pitre Auto Sales Ltd. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, and cars. Vincent will be sadly missed by his wife of over 48 years, Shirley (Budd) Pitre; daughter, Angel Clearwater (Mark), Winnipeg, MB; sons, Alan, Winnipeg, MB, Peter (Sharon), Saint Marie de Kent, Tim (Lisa), Canaan Station; 14 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Predeceased by brothers, Edmond, Henry, Augustine, Gerald and Albert; one sister, Marion. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton, (858-1995), Monday, 7-9. Funeral service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday, July 1, 2003, 11am, Pastor Blaine Steeves officiating. Refreshments following the service.
