Emile DesRoches 1923 - 2003 COLLETTE, NB - At the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Sunday, July 13, 2003, at the age of 79, passed away Emile DesRoches, spouse of Lorraine Savoie from Collette. Born October 13, 1923, he was the son of the late Joseph DesRoches and the late Judith Gaudet. Mr. DesRoches worked for 50 years for the Trappists Fathers. He is survived by his wife, as well as five daughters, Ginette (Walter Fletcher) from Burton, Monique (Donald Bourque) from Collette, Roseline from Fredericton, Georgette (Daniel Montpetit) from Ottawa and Jeannine (Louis Boudreau) from Moncton; two sons, JeanYves (Karen Bridges) from Windsor, N.S. and Benoit (Cathy Caissie) from Collette; three sisters, Alma and Marguerite, both from "Le Foyer Assomption" in Rogersville and Sister Jacqueline R.H.S.J. from St-Catherines, Ont; one sister-in-law, Florence DesRoches from Collette; 10 grandchildren, Marc, Andrea, Jean-Pierre, Joseph, Jeremy, Marie-Josee, Julianne, Danika, Pascale and Maxime, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Marie and Emilienne; as well as four brothers, Emmanuel, Benoit, Remi and Joseph. The family will be receiving visitors starting Tuesday, July 15, from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9, and Wednesday from 1:00 until time of departure at "La Colombe" in Rogersville. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2003 at 3:30pm, at the Notre-Damede-Fatima Roman Catholic Church, in Collette. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to "La Colombe" Funeral Home, Tracadie-Sheila.
