Maria Leger Maria Leger, 83, of Residence Bellevue, Dieppe, formerly of Memramcook West, passed away at the Dr. Georges- L. Dumont Hospital on Wednesday, July 16, 2003 after a brief illness. Born on Old Shediac Road, Memramcook, she was the daughter of the late Zoel Gautreau and the late Mathilde Cormier. She was the Owner and Operator of Leger Hardware. She was a member of the Club D'Age D'Or de Memramcook. She is survived by one daughter, Marise (Peter Kent) Leger of Moncton; four stepsisters, Olida (Gerald) Gaudet of Moncton, Irene (Paul) Dallaire of Malboro, Ma, Therese (Omer) Leger of Waltham, Ma, Bertha (Eddie) LeBlanc of Waltham, Ma; one brother, Joseph (Therese) Gautreau of Memramcook West; two stepbrothers, Paul (Mathilda) Gautreau of Moncton, Amedee (MarieTherese) Gautreau of Waltham, Ma; two grandchildren, Jérme, and Vincent; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Emilien Leger; stepmother, Josephine Allain; one sister, Adrienne LeBlanc; three brothers, Edouard, Alban, Elizee; four stepbrothers, Neri, Gerald, Hector, and Armand. Resting at Dupuis Funeral Home Ltd., Memramcook, N.B. with visiting hours on Friday, July 18, 2003 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Saturday, July 19, 2003 from 8 to 9 am. The Funeral Service will be held at St-Thomas de Memramcook Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, July 19, 2003 at 9:30 am. Interment to take place in the St-Thomas Cemetery.
