Frank Edward Cassidy NIAGARA FALLS, ON - Frank Edward Cassidy, husband of Marilynn (Johnson) Cameron Cassidy, went home to be with Jesus on July 1, 2003 at the Toronto General Hospital. Born in Hatboro, PA, on August 4 1947, he was the son of Harold Cassidy and the late Barbara (Coffin) Cassidy. He is survived by his wife Marilynn of Niagara Falls, ON; his father, Harold Cassidy of Harboro, PA; three step-children, Shelley Scott of Saint John, NB, Kelley Carter of Kannapolis,NC, Brad Cameron of Charlotte, NC; the grandchildren, Christine, Jacob, John, Matthew, Rachel, Caleb and Seth; and an adopted son, Samuel Gidla of India. He was a professional firefighter on aircraft crash rescue with a degree in fire science technology; on his volunteer fire and ambulance corp, and served in the US Navy as a radio operator aboard the Henry W. Tucker during the Viet Nam War receiving the Combat V and Navy Achievement metals. As a resident of the Saint John area from 19851990, Frank was administrator of The Christian Valley Day Care in Grand Bay, Co-pastor of the Lighthouse Chapel on Dunn Avenue in Saint John, and a bus driver for SMT. His greatest accomplishment is a book, "What is Born Again", which is just being published. His wife Marilynn will be returning permanently to Saint John and is looking forward to getting reacquainted with family and friends after being away from "home " for 14 years.
