WHITEWAY, Stanley Carson- Merchant Navy WWII. It is with deep regret, but thankful for his long life, that we announce the peaceful passing of Uncle Stan at the Salvation Army Glenbrook Lodge in the early morning hours of February 19, 2009, age 90 years 11 months. Stanley was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Muriel, in January 2008.
Also, predeceased by his parents Ezekiel (1937) and Martha (1974); sisters Jean Fewer (1990) and Virtue Sellars (2005). Leaving to mourn his niece Sharon Marshall (Randy) and family, brother-in-law Reg Sellars, sister-in-law Ethel Stanbury (Ontario); nephews and nieces Gerry Fewer, David Fewer, Phyllis Chard, Diane Duggan, Robert Sellars, as well as many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews throughout Canada and the United States.
