Marshall Hamilton LITTLE SHEMOGUE - The death of Marshall Hamilton, age 84, of Murray Corner and Welland, ON, occurred at the Moncton City Hospital on Monday, August 11, 2003 following a brief illness. Born in Lucky Lake SK, he was a son of the late Robert and Jenny (Paddison) Hamilton. After a 40 year career in the mining industry, he retired as Vice President of International Mining Contracting for J.S. Redpath Industries. He travelled the world developing and constructing mines. He was an adherent of the Timber River Pentecostal Church. Marshall will be sadly missed by his wife of 62 years, Kathleen (Spence), Murray Corner; one son, George (Susan), St. Louis MO; three daughters, Shirley (Winston) Quinlan, Marathon, ON, Norma Jean Allison, Welland, ON and Dorothy (Jim) Swain, Sudbury, ON; a brother James (Jessie), Calgary, AB; a sister, Jean Miller, Calgary, AB; nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers, Andy and Tom. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 3 West Main St., Port Elgin with visitation on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Timber River Pentecostal Church on Friday, August 15, 2003 at 2 pm, Pastor Al Leonard officiating.
