Mr. James G. McLean 1931-2003 Miramichi - Mr. James Gordon McLean, husband of Hazel McLean, of Vancouver Cres., Miramichi Retirement Community, and formerly of Black River Bridge, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Tuesday, August 12, 2003, at the age of 72. Born in Armprior, ON., he was the son of the late William and Anna Rose (McMillian) McLean. He was a retired employee of the Dept of National Defense, employed in Radar Defense. He attended the Holy Trinity Congregational Church, Miramichi. He is survived by his wife, the former Hazel Dollan; one son, Wayne McLean, of Fredericton; three sisters, Velma Dollan, Frances Brown, and Martha , all of Ontario: one brother, Angus McLean, of Ont.; one grandchild, Ian James Robert McLean; as well as several nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by one daughter, Brenda Lee; one sister, Jessie McLean; one brother, Alexander McLean Visiting will be from Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., on Thursday, only. Funeral service will be held from the Holy Trinity Congregational Church, Miramichi, on Friday, August 15, 2003, at 2 pm, conducted by Pastor Willard Watling. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, or any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
