George R. Hubbard 1926 - 2003 The death of George R. Hubbard, husband of Blanche (Somers) Hubbard, of Moncton and formerly of Red Bank, occurred at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, August 14, 2003. Born in Red Bank, he was the son of the late George and Alexis (Connors) Hubbard. He had worked for the Department of Natural Resources until his retirement in 1984. George will be sadly missed by his wife of 50 years, Blanche; seven daughters, Brenda (Joel) Dunnett of Red Bank, Kathy (Kevin) Siddall of Hammonds Plains, NS, Georgina (Peter) Breau of Moncton, Alice (Milton) Wybenga of Brookfield, NS, Eleanor (Glenn) Davis of Halifax, Willa (Roger) Frenette of Oshawa, ON, Shelly of Calgary; two sons, George of Toronto and Jarvis (Theresa) of Quispamsis; two sisters, Alice (Arnold) Ryder of St. Lambert, QC, and Jean (Wilbur) Dunnett of Riverview; 13 grandchildren, Erin and David Dunnett, Peter, Alexis and Jason Wybenga, Robert and Laura Hayes, Mark and Jacob Davis, Brittany, Brandy and Kari Frenette and Megan Hubbard; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Alexis (Connors) Hubbard; sisters, Mary Hubbard, Katherine (Kay) Burchill, and Willa Hare; brother, Jarvis Hubbard. Visitation will be on Sunday, August 17 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 in Fair Haven Funeral Home (852-3530) 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton. Funeral Service will be Monday, August 18, 2003 at 2pm in Fair Haven Funeral Home Chapel followed by a reception in the Family Reception Room of Fair Haven Funeral Home. Interment will be in St. Stephen's United Church Cemetery, Red Bank on Monday, August 18 at 7pm. As expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation. www.fairhavenfh.com
