Ernestine Gallant SHEDIAC, NB - Ernestine Gallant, 80, wife of the late Edgar Gallant, of Shediac, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2003 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born February 17, 1923 in Shediac, she was the daughter of the late Simon, and Ida (Gautreau) Gallant. She is survived by four daughters, Denise Duplessis (Gérald), Dora LeBlanc (Roméo), and Florence Gallant (Donald) all of Shediac, Dorothée LeBlanc (Ovila) of Moncton; four sons, Louis (Brenda), Bernie (Lorraine), and Éric all of Shediac, Joseph of Moncton; a sister, Florine Geneau of Grand-Barachois; a brother, Camille (Ella) of Moncton; several grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. Besides her husband Edgar, she is predeceased by six sons, Hubert, Roméo, Bobby, Camille, Hervé, and Marc; also six brothers, Edouard, Ovila, Roger, Léonide, Euclide, and Antoine. Remains resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297). Visiting hours Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, Tuesday from 10 AM until time of departure (10:50).
