Isabel Ogden PORT ELGIN, NB - The death of Isabel Ogden, age 73, of Port Elgin, widow of Hugh Ogden, occurred at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, August 22, 2003. Born in St. George, NB, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Blanche (MacKay) Matheson. She was a member of the St. James Presbyterian Church, Port Elgin and was a former employee with the Eaton's Order Office in Sackville. A lover of animals she will be missed by her cat "Charlie". Isabel will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Frances (Randy) Trenholm, Moncton and Gail (Darrell) Baxter, Tidnish, NS; a son, Mark (Jan) of Toronto; four grandchildren, Joel, Ellen, Corey and Heather. She was predeceased by her husband, Hugh Ogden in 1991. She was predeceased by brothers, Hugh, Albert and Roy and a sister, Marjorie. The remains have been forwarded for cremation. A memorial service will be held at the Jones Funeral Home, 3 W. Main Street, Port Elgin (364-1300) on Wednesday, August 27, 2003 at 2 pm, Rev. Terrence Trites officiating. Burial in the Fernwood Cemetery, Port Elgin. A time of tea and fellowship will be held at the funeral home following the memorial service and all are invited.
