Prosper Richard 1920 - 2003 Prosper Richard, 83, of Moncton Veteran's Health Center, formerly of Amirault Street, St. Anselme, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2003 at his residence. Born in Rogersville, NB, he was the son of the late John and the late Marie Blanche (née: Hébert) Richard. He was a veteran of WW II, having served in the army, had retired as a bus driver with SMT with 34 years service, and was a parishioner of St. Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB. Mr. Richard is survived by one daughter, Phyllis (Roland R.) Goguen of St. Anselme; three sisters, Maclina Belliveau of Shediac, Jeannie (Antoine) Richard of Moncton and Marie (Ron) Leger of Grande-Digue; four brothers, Edmond of Toronto, ON, Jean (Faith) of Perth,ON, Eric (Madelyn) of Moncton and Armand (Cecile) of Fredericton; two grandchildren, Sylvie and Marcel; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, RoseMarie in 1995; one infant daughter, Phyllis; one sister, Lina; and four brothers, Celime, Gaspard, Joe and Emile. Visitation will be held from the Chatersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Thursday, August 28, 2003, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and also on Friday from 10 am until time of departure, Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Anselme Roman Catholic Church on Friday, August 29, 2003 at 11:00 am. Interment in St. Anselme Parish Cemetery, Dieppe, NB. A veteran's service will be held at the funeral home, Thursday evening at 7 pm. Donations to the Dr. Georges L.Dumont Hospital Foundation "Veteran Unit" would be appreciated by the family.
