Everett D. MacFadyen

Everett D. MacFadyen 1943 - 2003 Everett D. MacFadyen, 59, of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, September 5, 2003. Born in Canoe Cove, PEI, he was the son of the late Malcolm and Mary Belle (MacKinnon) MacFadyen. He served as President and General Manager of Electrical & Refrigeration Services Ltd. until fall of 2002. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Anglican Church in Riverview and was a Past Warden of the Church, a member of the Vestry and the Men's Club. Everett was Past Master of the Coverdale Lodge #52 F.&AM; he was a Past President and a trustee of Electrical Contractors Association of New Brunswick Inc; a member of the ECANB Industrial Relations Committee and the ECANB Executive Committee and was a Past President and served as a board member for several years of the Moncton Northeast Construction Association. Everett loved sailing, canoeing, downhill skiing, woodworking, travelling and gardening with his little buddy "Muffin". A loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend he will be sadly missed. Left to mourn is his wife, Heather (Golden) MacFadyen; son, Paul and his wife, Janice of Moncton; daughter, Heidi and her husband Tim Cormier of Moncton; step grandchildren, Natasha and Sarah; his twin brother, Curtis (Janet) of Saint John; brothers, Retus (Mary) of Riverview, Victor and sisters, Kaye (Bud) Morrison and Sadie (Lorne MacLean); sister-inlaw, Martie MacFadyen, all of PEI and by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he is predeceased by his brother, Glen and by his father and mother-in-law, Purdy and Sally Golden. Visitation is at the Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd., Riverview, NB on Monday, September 8, 2003 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church on Woolridge Dr., Riverview, NB on Tuesday, September 9, 2003 at 2:00pm with Rev. Albert Snelgrove officiating. Coverdale Lodge #52 F.& AM. will be conducting a masonic service at the Riverview Funeral Home, Monday evening September 8, 2003 at 6:30 pm. Interment will be in Alderwood Cemetery. Donations made to St. John the Baptist Anglican Church Building Fund or to Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation "Oncology Dept." would be appreciated by Everett's family.
