June M. Reid SACKVILLE, NB - The death of June Reid, age 78, wife of Burton Reid of Sackville occurred on Friday, September 5, 2003 at the Drew Nursing Home, Sackville. Born in Glace Bay, NS, she was a daughter of the late Heber and Annie (Buffitt) Moffitt. An accountant she worked many years at Reid Discount Ltd., Plumbing and Heating. She was a long time member of the Ruby Rebekah Lodge. June will be sadly missed by her husband of 58 years, Burton Reid, Sackville; a son, Robert (Diane), Mississauga, ON; five grandchildren, Gregory, Alana, Raquel, Nathan and Andrew. She was predeceased by brothers, Bion and Gatez and sisters, Ruth and Lydia. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (364-1300) with visitation Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2003 at 11 am at the funeral home, Rev. Dr. Jamie Gripton officiating. Burial in the Sackville Cemetery.
