At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Thursday Feb. 19, 2009, of Grace E. Hickox of South Shore Villa, Crapaud, and formerly of Springfield, aged 96 years. Born in Freetown on May 16, 1912, daughter of the late Frank and Lulu (Hooper) Deacon. Wife of the late John L. (Jack) Hickox. She is survived by a number of sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. Funeral Monday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment later in the Fredericton Cemetery. If so desired contributions may be made to the Maritime Christian College or the Canoe Cove Christian Camp.
