Lester Harold Killam STEEVES SETTLEMENT, NB - Lester Harold Killam of Steeves Settlement, age 80, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2003 at The Moncton Hospital. Born May 24, 1923, in New Scotland, Westmorland County, he was a son of the late William Killam and Violet (Horseman). He was a retired employee of the Department of Transportation, Province of NB. He is survived by a daughter, Carolyn McMananman of Riverglade; four sons, Lorne (Sandra) of Plevna, ON, Willard (Lois) of Killams Mills, Carl (Bonnie) of Steeves Mountain, and Glendon of Havelock; two sisters, Viola MacDonald, P.E.I. and Helen Carter (Herb) of Killams Mills; three brothers, Leonard Killam of Irishtown, Everett Killam (Ethel) of Salisbury and Lloyd Killam of British Columbia. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; three stepdaughters, Barbara Killam (Wayne) of Salisbury, Linda Atkinson (Reg) of Calhoun, Mary Ellen Taylor (Milton) of Moncton; two stepsons, Chester Mullin (Nancy) of Rothesay and Danny Mullin (Judy) of Moncton. He was predeceased by his first wife, Nellie Gaynes, his second wife, Doris Eastwick; two sons, Lawrence and Billy; several brothers and sisters. The remains are resting at Armstrong's Funeral Home at 33 Russell Street, Petitcodiac, NB with visiting hours on Monday from 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral will be held from Armstrong's Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 17, 2003 at 2:00 pm with Rev. L. Hicks officiating. Interment will be held in the Mount Eagle Cemetery. www.armstrongfh.com
