Mary Louise McCabe OTTAWA, ON - Mary Louise McCabe, resident of Versa-Care Lodge, Ottawa, ON, died August 27, 2003. Born in Newcastle, New Brunswick on February 26, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Clare and Annie (Lawlor) McCabe. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Alexa McCabe of Saint John, NB; one niece, Ann McCabe of Halifax, NS; a nephew, Donald McCabe of Saint John, NB; and several cousins. She is predeceased by two brothers, Frank and Donald; two sisters, Anne and Sister Rose McCabe (Convent of the Good Shepherd). Louise graduated from Saint Mary's Academy, Newcastle, NB. She also completed a teaching degree from the Provincial Normal School in Fredericton, to work most of her life in Montreal and Hull, Quebec, as a secretary for Bell Canada. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Newcastle on Thursday, September 18, 2003 at 11:30 AM with Father Sam Diotte officiating.
