Rita Jones 1929 - 2003 The death of Rita Jones, widow of the late Edgar Jones, of Weldon Street Moncton occurred at the Moncton Hospital on Sunday September 14th, 2003. Born September 10, 1929 in Landry Office, NB she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth and Romain Mazerolle. Rita was a homemaker and was a babysitter to children in the neighbourhood. She loved to play bingo and enjoyed all types of puzzles. She is survived by sisters, Mary St. Pierre of Caraquet, Therese Jean of Bas-Caraquet; brothers, Sylvian Mazerolle and Onile Mazerolle, both of Caraquet; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a special nephew, Wayne (Marjorie). She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Edgar in 2000 and her son David in 1997. By personal request of the deceased there will not be any visitation or funeral service. A private family graveside service has been held in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Tributes in Rita's name may be made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital-Oncology Unit or the memorial of the donor's choice.
