Florence K. McCallum MIRAMICHI, NB - Florence K. McCallum (née Cassidy) of Lobban Ave, Miramichi, NB, daughter of William F. McCallum and Mabel J. Flood, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 15, 2003 in her 93rd year. She will be lovingly remembered by her six daughters, Katherine (Jim) Burns, Mary (Tom) King, Florence (Frank) Petrie of Miramichi, Carol (Roy) McKiel, Doris (Chesley) Eddy, Bathurst, NB and Margaret (Mike) McCallum Woodstock, NB; her four sons, Bob (Maryellen), Richard of Miramichi, NB, Bill (Sheila), Dartmouth, NS, Frank (Sharon), Beaver Harbour, NB; three sisters-in-law, Patsy McCarthy, Moncton, NB, Helen McCallum, Saint John, NB, and Joan McCallum, Penticton, BC; 40 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Percy F. McCallum in 1996; and an infant son, Donald in 1937. She was the last surviving member of her family. Florence K. McCallum will be resting at Maher's Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 16 from 7 to 9 and Wednesday, September 17 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Michael's Basilica on Thursday, September 18 at 11am. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Miramichi. Phone 773-4321.
