Lorette Lirette 1919 - 2003 SHEDIAC, NB - Lorette Lirette, 84, of Villa Providence, Shediac, formerly of Fox Creek, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2003 at her residence. Born in Pré-d'En-Haut, she was the daughter of the late Adolphe and the late Emma (née: Belliveau) Melanson. Mrs. Lirette is survived by six daughters, Fedelice (Oscar) Gauvin and Dorine (Mark Mitton), both of Fox Creek, Aline Hachey (Wendell) of Nova Scotia, Doris (Roger) LeBlanc and Louise (Monique), both of Moncton and Della (Wayne) Edgett of Riverview; seven sons, Leonard (Doris) of Fox Creek, Leon (Janet) of Fredericton, Romeo, Dollard (Carol) and Noel (Lorraine) all of Moncton, Louis (Paulette) of Pré-d'EnHaut, and Charles (Georgette) of Cape Breton Road; two sisters, Irene Gautreau and Exelia (Emile) Gautreau, both of Pré-d'En-Haut, and by one brother, Yvon (Bernice) Melanson also of Préd'En-Haut; 34 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Regis J. in 1995; one daughter, Aline; two sons, Valmond and Emile; one sister, Eva and also by three brothers, Eugene, Alyre and Gerald. Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Thursday, September 18, 2003 from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 pm and on Friday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Anselme Roman Catholic Church on Friday, September 19, 2003 at 11 am. Interment in St. Anselme Parish Cemetery, Dieppe, NB. Donations to The Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
