Evelyn P. Leaman Evelyn P. Leaman, 88, of Moncton passed away at Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital on Thursday, September 18, 2003. Born in Moncton, daughter of the late Isaac Newton and Margaret (Fitzsimmons) Wilbur. Evelyn was a homemaker, attended St. John's United Church, member of The Moncton Women's Liberal Association and former volunteer for the N.B. Heart and Stroke Foundation. Evelyn will be missed by her daughter-in-law, Adeline Ramsay; grandchildren, Patti Arsenault (Denis), Albert Ramsay (Sylvia), Robert Ramsay, Moncton, David Ramsay (Sadie), Portland, ME; great grandchildren, Heather, Amanda, Joshua; nieces, Helen McQuinn (Walter), Shediac Cape, Jeannie Shaban, Sharon Melanson, Moncton; several cousins. Predeceased by her husband Ernest Leaman (1974); son, George Ramsay (June 2003); sister, Gladys Shaban. No visitation by request. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton, Sunday, September 21, 2003, 1:30pm. Rev. Mary Anningson officiating. Reception following the Service.
