Victor, George. Passed away July 31 peacefully Victor George Harbin at Western Memorial Hospital in Corner Brook. He was 88. Mr. Harbin retired from the footwear business in 1985. Predeceased by his parents and several brothers and sisters. Left to mourn are Alma; sons, Wayne (Susan) of Burlington, Ont., Victor of Brampton, Ont., Derek (Roxanne) of Grand Falls-Windsor, Vaughn of Deer Lake, Albert of Wasaga Beach, Ont.; daughters Charlene (Tim Van Maren) of Wasaga Beach, Ont., Joy of Burlington, Ont.; brothers Harry (Ruby) of North Sydney. N.S.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a large circle of other friends and relatives. Pastor Geoff Slade conducted funeral services at Evangel Pentecostal Church in Grand Falls-Windsor Monday, Aug. 4. Interment was at the Pentecostal cemetery on Union Street in Grand Falls- Windsor. Funeral arrangements were by Hoskins Funeral Home (Grand Falls-Windsor). Pallbearers were Victor, Derek, Albert, Peter, Gregory and Andrew Harbin, James Lewis and Timothy Van Maren.JORDAN, Bernard James – Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, August 5, 2008, in his 71st year. Ruby was predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years, Don L. Moore in March 2004. She is survived by her daughter Donna Schuler (Don), three grandchildren, Jennifer, Angela (Joe Paulsen), and Brian, her sister Margaret Evans, sister-in-law Helen Ashbourne, six nieces, and a nephew. She is also survived by many cousins and family throughout Canada. Ruby will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn cemetery, London, Ont., on August 8, 2008.
