Arthur E. Belliveau
Arthur E. Belliveau SHEDIAC, NB - Arthur E. Belliveau, 86, of Villa Providence, formerly of Labatture Street, Shediac, passed away Friday, September 26, 2003 at the residence following a lengthy illness. Born May 23, 1917 in Shediac, he was the son of the late Edmond, and Célerise (Gautreau) Belliveau. He was a veteran of W.W. 2 having served with the Canadian Armed Forces 1942-46. Arthur was employed for R.C. Tait, then with NB Liquor Commission in Shediac prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Shediac Legion, member and past secretary-treasurer of Boishébert Club, and also a member of the Shediac Golden Age Club. He is survived by his wife, Leda (Gauvin) Belliveau; two daughters, Janine Belliveau of Moncton, Simone Légère (Ernest) of Shediac; a son, Roger (Bernice) of Shediac; two grandchildren, Nadine, and Julien; six sisters, Marguerite Cormier, Lorette Belliveau, Laura Lirette (Arthur), and Hélène Boudreau (Edmond) all of Shediac, Florence Robineau of Valleyfield, QC, Joséphine Tardiff of East Angus, QC; several nieces, and nephews. A sister, Mélina Bourque predeceased him. Remains will be resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297). Visiting hours Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM, Tuesday from 3 PM until time of departure (3:50). The funeral Mass will be held at 4 PM Tuesday, September 30, 2003 at St-Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Shediac. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. www.frenettefuneralhome.com
