Wilfred Gaius Colpitts
Wilfred Gaius Colpitts 1933-2003 Wilfred Gaius Colpitts, 70, of Weldon passed away on October 2, 2003 at the Moncton City Hospital with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer. Wilfred was born in Harvey on March 31, 1933 the son of the late Gaius and Kathleen (White) Colpitts. He was a member of the Moncton Seventh Day Adventist Church. Wilfred worked for several years in Autobody repair. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and antique cars. However, the most important thing in his life was the time spent with his family, he cherished every moment. He will be deeply missed by his loving and devoted wife Patricia Colpitts of Weldon ; his three sons Gary Colpitts (Kim) of Hillsborough, Roger Colpitts of Stoney Plain, Alberta, David Colpitts (Carolyn) of Ottawa; his pride and joy, grandson Ryan Colpitts ; sister Millie Milburn (Arthur) of Hopewell Hill; two brothers, Claude Colpitts (June) of New Horton, Arthur Colpitts (Sue) of Hillsborough; his special mother-in-law Frances White of Hopewell Hill. He will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his father-in-law Herbert White. He will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Saturday evening from 7 to 9pm. The funeral service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Sunday, October 5, 2003 at 2pm with Mr. Barry Hubley officiating. Internment will be in the Hopewell Cemetery, Hopewell Hill. Donations to the Friends Of The Moncton Hospital, the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
