Albert J. Beers 1929 - 2003 MUNDLEVILLE, NB - Albert J. Beers, 73, husband of Barbara (Berlied) Beers, passed away at home, Sunday, October 5, 2003. Born in Ford Bank, NB, he was the son of the late J. Stanley Beers and Mildred (Reid) Beers. Albert was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He attended St. Andrew's United Church in Rexton. He had worked in the Nickel Mines in Ontario in the early 1950's and lived in Stow, Massachusetts for 34 years where he worked as a builder, owning his own construction company. Albert had also worked for CNR as a Brakeman. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; four daughters, Catherine Richard (Jamie), Gardner, Mass., Beverly French (Jason), Maynard, Mass., Marlene Lewis (Bobby LeBlanc), Bedec, Darlene Fillmore (Rodney Fahey), Beersville; three sons, Michael (Kathy), Mundleville, Terry (Giselle), St. Paul, Harry (Shelley), Riverview; 18 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; seven brothers, Lowell (Marjorie), Harcourt, Wayne (Brenda), Ford Bank, Terry (Carol), South Branch, Frederick (Janet), Mundleville, Richard (Joan), Sudbury, Mass., Gene (Dawn), Westford, Mass., Lewis (Deborah), Centura, California. He was predeceased by two sons, Albert Jr., Kenneth; two brothers, Kenneth, Phillip; two sisters, Irene, Mary. There will be no visitation. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at the church one hour before the funeral service. Funeral service will be held at St. Andrew's United Church, Rexton on Wednesday, October 8, 2003 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Beth Johnston officiating. Interment in Brookside Cemetery, Stow, Mass.
