John Francis Cormier January 30, 1954 - October 13, 2003 SOSUA, D.R. - The death of John Cormier, age 49, of Sosua, Dominican Republic, and formerly of Moncton, occurred on October 13, 2003, after a brief illness. He will be sadly missed by his spouse Evelyn and her son Andre of the D. R.; his children Jaime of Toronto, and Christopher, of Moncton; his parents Omer and Georgie of Moncton; his sisters Pauline (Bill) Duerr of Moncton, Gisele (Ray) Saulnier of Riverview, Trish (Robin) Levesque of TracadieSheila; his brothers Fred ( Cheryl) of Hampton, Patrick (Eileen) of SaintPaul; and seven nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an infant brother, Daniel, in 1955. Cremation has taken place in the Dominican Republic. A memorial service will be held at St. Bernard's Church on Friday, October 17, 2003, at 11 a.m.. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at the church hall immediately following the service. Donations in John's memory to Headstart or the Ray of Hope Kitchen would be appreciated by the family.
