John D. Steeves 1933-2003 John D. Steeves ,70, of Edgett's Landing, Albert Co., NB, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2003 at the Moncton City Hospital. He was born on August 7, 1933 in Edgett's Landing, the son of the late Rutledge and Marjorie Steeves. He is survived by his wife ,Ethel (Lyman) Steeves of Edgett's Landing; his daughter, Louise Tingley (Mansel) of Hopewell Cape; son, Samuel Steeves of Edgett's Landing; three grandchildren Donald(Louise), Tina and Laura; four great grandchildren, Samantha, Travis, Daniel and Brookelyn; two sisters, Jean Snelgrove (Ron) of Hillsborough; Elizabeth Sears (Leslie) of Halifax; one brother, Robert Steeves (Doris) of Albert Mines; sister-in-law, Doreen Steeves of Hillsborough; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by one brother, James. Honouring John's own wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Internment will be held in the Green Hill Cemetery, Edgett's Landing at a later date. Donations to the Hillsborough St. John Ambulance or to the Friends Of The Moncton Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family.
