Narcisse Gallant SHEDIAC, NB - Mr. Narcisse Gallant, 76, of King St., Shediac passed away on Friday, October 24, 2003 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born April 8, 1927 in Shediac, he was the son of the late Albert and Mary Gallant. Prior to his retirement, he was the caretaker of Greenwood Cemetery in Shediac. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lavonna (O'Regan) Gallant; his three daughters, Dianne Gallant (Gerard Martin) of Grand-Barachois, Donna and Crystal Gallant both of Shediac; two sons, John (Cindy) of Amherst, N.S. and Arnold "Bib" of Shediac; and four grandchildren, Kevin, Jaret, Jillian and Amanda. He was the last member of his immediate family. He was predeceased by four sisters, Elizabeth, Bertha, Annie and Stella; and a brother Robert Gallant. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) with visitation on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday from 9 a.m. until time of departure at 9:50 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 27, 2003 at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church in Pointe-du-Chne. Interment in St-Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery, Shediac. Donations may be made to the N. B. Lung Association.
