Mrs. Dorothy J. Gorman 1927-2003 MIRAMICHI, NB - Mrs. Dorothy Jane Gorman, former wife of Freeman Gorman, of Hill St., Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Tuesday, October 28, 2003, at the age of 76. Born in Upper Napan, she was the daughter of the late Jasper and Isabella (Russell) Cabel. She was a homemaker and attended St. Michaels Basilica, Miramichi. She is survived by seven daughters, Donna MacDonald (Bob), Linda Gorman, Lorna Trevors (Tommy), Patricia Chapman (James), Brenda Hackett (James), Cora O'Hearn (Patty), all of Miramichi, Catherine Rennick (Paul), of Fredericton; six sons, Norman Cabel (Debbie), Thomas Gorman (Kathy), Brett Gorman (Nancy), Bart Gorman (Claudette), of Dartmouth, N.S., Scott (Tracey), of Upper Napan, Laurie (Shelley), all of Upper Napan; two sisters, Anna Robichaud (Leonard) and Judy Brennan (Murdock), all of Upper Napan; two brothers, Robert Cable and Gerald Cabel, both of Toronto, Ont.; twentynine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; as well as several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Robert Gorman; one sister, Betty Cabel. Visiting will be held from Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, on Wednesday, from 7-9 pm and Thursday, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Michaels Basilica, on Friday, October 31, 2003, conducted by Father John Fraser. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery. Please note, vigil prayers will be held at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon, at 3pm.
