Alyre Robichaud 1917 - 2003 RICHIBUCTO, NB - Alyre Robichaud, 85, husband of Shirley Elizabeth (Russell) Robichaud, of Richibucto, NB, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Friday, November 7, 2003. Alyre was born in Richibucto, NB, he was the son of the late Levis Robichaud and Suzanne (Martin) Robichaud. He was retired, he had worked as a Welder and Musician. He attended Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Rexton and St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto. He was a member of the Richibucto Legion Branch No. 30 and the Richibucto Golden Age Club. He served in France with the Canadian Army during WW II. He is survived by wife, Shirley; one step-daughter, Cathy; two step sons, Eddie and Peter; one sister, Elvina Daigle (late Leon); one sister-in-law, Bertha Robichaud; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren. Predeceased by his brother, Elide; and infant brother, Tilmon. Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday from noon until time of funeral. A prayer vigil will be held at the funeral home Monday evening at 8:30 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Rexton on Tuesday, November 11, 2003 at 2:00 pm with Father J.B. Mallais officiating.
