Dorice Melanson Dorice Melanson, 70, wife of Adelard Melanson, of Moncton, passed away Wednesday November 12, 2003 at her residence following a courageous battle with cancer. Born March 12, 1933 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Maximilien, and Délina (Vautour) Saulnier. To Dorice, the most important thing in her life was her loving family. She had a passion for flowers, and creative works such as crafts. Her work has left us many treasured memories. She is survived by her husband Adelard, to whom she was married for 51 years; five children, Joanne, Robert (Bernice), Roger (Linda), Daniel, and Micheal all of Moncton; nine grandchildren, Chantal, Marcel, Mathieu, Bernie, Jason, Carol, Shawn, Justin, Jeremy; three sisters, Irene Thériault, and Jeannine Green (Kevin) of Ontario, Doreen Daigle of Moncton; six brothers, Frank (Thérèse) of Mass., Emery (Mai) of Notre-Dame, Jean-Paul (Dina) of Moncton, Donald (Jeannine) of Caissie Cape, Alcide (Barbara), and Rev. Alfred (Bertine) of Ontario, several nieces, and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A sister Corinne LeBlanc (1988), and a brother Roger Saulnier (1995) predeceased her. Remains resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). Visiting hours Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM, Saturday from 10 AM until time of departure (10:45). The funeral mass will be held at 11 AM Saturday November 15, 2003 at NotreDame-de-Gr~ce Roman Catholic Church, Moncton.
