Freda Walton SHEDIAC, NB - Freda Elaine Walton, 84, of Smith Street, Shediac, widow of the late Harold B. Walton , passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, November 14, 2003. Born May 19, 1919 in Alberton "NorthPort ", PEI, she was the daughter of the late Samuel " Budd" Fraser, and the late Charlotte "Lottie" Matthews. Freda was past Worthy Matron of Port Elgin Fort Monckton, Chapter # 11 of the Order of the Eastern Star and life member of the Zetland Chapter # 26 of EOS Shediac. She will be sadly missed by her children: Linda Trenholm, Bonnie Wallace, Alan Walton (Louise) all of Shediac ,Donald Walton (Karla) of Oshawa ON, Harold Walton Jr. (Bonna) of Millbrook ON; her sister, Mable Goguen of Moncton; grand children, Vicky LeBlanc (Roy) of Bowmanville ON, Rick Trenholm (Debbie) of Salisbury, Theresa Woodward (Derek), Debbie Hogendoorn and Todd Branscombe, all of Millbrook ON, Michael Walton (Kim) of Belleville, ON, Christina Walton, Fraser Wallace, both of Shediac; great grand children, Shanea and Joel Trenholm of Salisbury, Justin, Alex and Trisha Hogendoorn, Wesley Branscombe of Millbrook ON and by several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband she is predeceased by sisters, Ruth Brydges and Sadie Darrach; brothers, Lorne, Donald, Samuel, Wilber and Archibald Fraser. Funeral service will be held at Trinity United Church, Main Street, Shediac on Tuesday November 18, 2003 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Claudia Keller presiding. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Shediac. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Trinity United Church Memorial Fund, Shediac.
