Percy Weldon Cook GRAND MANAN, NB - Mr. Percy Weldon Cook, 83, formerly of Shediac Cape, NB passed away at the Grand Manan Nursing Home, Sunday, November 16, 2003. Born of the late James and Sophia (Ganong) Cook in Grand Manan. He was a veteran of the Second World War and later worked as a Lobster Fisherman and also in the Smoked Herring Industry. He also worked for the J. W. Windsor Co. until his retirement in 1982. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alice (Bass) Cook; one daughter, Lorraine MacNeil of Cold Lake, AB; one daughter-in-law, Dixie Cook of Calgary, AB; six sons, George (Linda), Allison, NB, Rodney (Sylvia), Saint John, NB, Craig, Calgary, AB, John, Shediac Cape, NB, Dwight (Joanne), Grand Barachois, NB, and Russell (Kathy), of Porters Lake, NS; twelve grandchildren and one great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son, Douglas. Visiting hours will be held from Ells Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM and the funeral service to be held from St. Paul's Anglican Church on Wednesday, November 19, 2003 at 2 p.m. with Rev.
