James Edward White BEDFORD, NS - James Edward White, 58, of Bedford, passed away suddenly at home, Sunday, November 16, 2003. Born in Dorchester Cape, NB, he was the son of Virginia (Reid) Sweet of Moncton and the late Alfred James White. Jim retired January, 2003 as Branch Manager of TRC Hydraulics Inc., Dartmouth. He was a football coach for 30 years, began the football program at Sackville High, coached Minor and Bantam football in Burlington, ON and Bedford, NS. Jim coached Ringette for 15 years in Bedford. He was an electric bass player in Moncton, loved computer games and war gaming. Jim was extremely proud of his children and was anticipating the birth of his first grandchild. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Carol Ann (Humes); daughter, Kelly and husband Todd MacKinnon, Greenfield and son, Jay, Hayward, California. Visitation was held on Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in T.K. Barnard Funeral Home, 1216 Bedford Highway, Bedford. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in All Saints Anglican Church, Bedford with Canon Robert Power officiating. Interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lower Sackville. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
