Romeo Maillet 1939 - 2003 The death of Romeo Maillet, 64, husband of Leola of Shirley Ave. occurred at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital on Monday, December 1, 2003. Born in Moncton September 3, 1939 he was the son of the late Joseph andViola (Bourque) Maillet. A member of Christ De Roi Church he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. An avid golfer, he was a member of Lakeside Golf and Country Club. Romeo will be remembered as a loving husband and father. He was a good friend to all who knew him. Romeo had retired from the Pepsi Bottling Group. In addition to his wife Leola, he is survived by his twin children, his son, Donald (Noella) of Cornwall, ON and daughter, Donna of Moncton. He is also survived by his brothers, Wilfred (Fred) and his wife Louiselle, Roger (Potsy) and his wife Sharon all of Moncton, Albert (Buck) and his wife Vaska of MacKenzie, BC, Paul and his wife, Diane of Edmonton AB and his sisters, Adrienne of Moncton and Muriel Parsons of Shediac as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Ronald. There will be visiting with the family at Fair Haven Funeral Home (852-3530) 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton on Wednesday, December 3 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 4 at 11 am at Christ De Roi Church, Dominion Street. Moncton, followed by a reception in the Club d'Age D'or Christ De Roi.
