Passed peacefully away on February 20th, 2009 at the L.A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit after a short illness. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Dorothy Oliver and infant sister Maureen. Leaving to mourn his beloved wife Ruby (nee Rollings); cherished father of Debbie, Tony (Bev Mercer), Paul and David; his grandchildren whom he adored: granddaughter Stephanie Sturge; grandsons: Alex and Adam Marshall, Benjamin Oliver and Dustin and Dylan Forbes; brother, Brian (Patricia); sisters: Bernice (Charlie Lewis) and Jeanne (Ian Gosse); members of the Rollings Family; special friend George Price (Dave’s new right hand) as well as other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral Service will take place on Monday, February 23rd, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. from Caul’s Chapel. Cremation to follow.
