Glenn "Doug" Murray 1954 - 2003 Glenn "Doug" Murray, 49, of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital following a brief illness on Monday, December 8, 2003. Born in Sarnia, ON. October 27, 1954. He is the son of Mary "Ellen" (Geary) Murray and the late John "Jack" E. Murray. Doug was manager of Maintenance and Operations and Special Projects at the Moncton International Airport. He was a member of the Moncton Wesleyan Church and a former member of St. Lukes Church in Sarnia, ON. He was a Ham Radio Operator (VE9DM), C.B. Operator (Munchkin), the Moncton Citation Trailer, he enjoyed music, reading, working out at the Gym and also he and Bonita are True North Business Owners. Formerly of Sarnia, ON. Doug went to Sarnia Middle School growing up and graduated from Saint John High School and he was a graduate of UNB Fredericton with a degree in Civil Engineering. A loving and caring husband, son, father and friend. he is survived by his wife Bonita (Ackroyed), daughters; Cheryl Lynn Murray of Sackville, NB (Mount A. Student), Tracey Jennifer Murray of Riverview, NB (A.B.U. Student); his mother Mary "Ellen" Murray of Riverview; by several nieces and nephews and by the family cats Elmo and puppy. He was predeceased by his father John "Jack" E. Murray, June 17, 1993. Visitation is at the Riverview Funeral Home 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview, NB on Wednesday, December 10, 2003 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home on Thursday, December 11, 2003 at 1:00 pm with Pastors Tim Guptil and Pastor Jay Guptil officiating. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by his family.
