Alexander (Alex) C. Lowe PEMBROKE, ON - (Alexander (Alex) C. Lowe was a retired professional photographer and long-time downtown business owner, Lowe's Studio). Alex passed away in hospital, Pembroke with his daughter by his side on Thursday, December 11, 2003 in his 88 year. Alex Lowe of Alfred Street, Pembroke, dearly loved husband of the late Jean Lowe (nee Watling). Cherished father and best friend of daughter, Cheryl Lowe. Son of the late George E. and Nina Lowe (nee Colpitts) of Moncton, N.B. Dear brother of Kenneth Lowe (wife Kay), Moncton; Lloyde Lowe (wife Millie), Bradenton, Florida; Muriel Peake, Moncton; and sisters-in-law, Charlotte Lowe (husband late George), Moncton and Amy Hoelke (husband Gerry), Nepean. Alex will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers, Wendal (late Bertha), Oswald (late Freda), George Lowe (Charlotte); sisters, Alice Keith (late Charles), Myrtle Ellis (late Milton), and Shirley Ryan (late Edward); brothers-in-law, Bevet (late Verna), Eric (late Bernice), Lorne and Donald Watling. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services in Calvin United Church on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Spring interment in Calvin United/First Presbyterian Cemetery.
